KFG December 2023
Welcome to our final newsletter for 2023.
A reminder of our Holiday Season Closure dates is outlined in our first article.
With the holidays upon us, we tend to spend more than normal on gifts and social events. We’ve provided a few tips to help make budgeting a little easier this festive season.
With cybercrime being ever-present, especially during the holiday season where people may be more relaxed, you need to know how to keep your personal information safe. Being 'wary' and 'aware' is key when it comes to staying one step ahead of scammers. A reminder that at King Financial Group, we have policies to ensure the continued safety of our clients. However, as an imporftant reminder, please do NOT share any personal information, banking details, passwords or transaction confirmation codes with anyone you don't already know and trust.
Making extra contributions to your super is a great way to boost your retirement savings. If your concessional contributions are less than the annual cap of $27,500, you may be eligible to carry forward unused contributions. Discover more here, and reach out to us with any specific queries.
Eligibility for the downsizer super contributions changed at the beginning of 2023. If you’re considering whether to downsize your home and boost your super in the New Year, we explain how in this article, but also encourage you to speak with us during the consideration and planning of a strategy such as this.
We love to hear from you, so please feel free to contact us with any questions about our articles in this newsletter, or strategies outlined above that you might be considering, on (03) 9999 2700 or via email to wealth@kfgroup.com.au or your adviser directly.
Kind regards,
The KFG team.
